This oil/wax blend can be used directly on bare wood as a protective finish or it can be applied over painted surfaces or surfaces coated with polyurethane, shellac or lacquer as an enhancement.

Linseed oil is a curing oil meaning that once applied it will cure on the wood surface. This along with the beeswax means that it provides moderate protection against water making it suitable for use on outdoor furniture.

The natural scent of the linseed oil is beautiful and its ability to darken bare wood is magical.

To apply this oil/wax blend simply use either a clean rag or a lint-free cloth. Apply a thin coat over the desired area and leave for 24 hours, this will allow the oil to penetrate the wood and the beeswax to set and seal it in. Following this, buff the area where the oil/wax blend was applied with a clean rag or lint-free cloth.
