These handmade bottle stoppers will be a nice finishing touch at the end of the dinner party. They may appear to be small in size but it takes a respectable amount of time and skill to make just one of these.

Initially a blank is cut from a piece of rough sawn hardwood. The blank is then given a rough shape using a couple of different handsaws. It’s then on to the files. A variety of different grade files are used by hand to get the stand out geometric shape before finishing with two coats of linseed oil and two coats of my own linseed oil and beeswax blend polish.

Please note that due to the handmade nature of each item they are all unique and will have different variations in colour, tone and/or grain pattern than the ones photographed.
